didnt like the sound quality, everyone I've ever heard that had them said get ax pros or 180's

I've personally gone through way too many headsets and I'll share my experiences.

AX180 = Cheap, they are ok I still own a pair because I got them for 20$ during a sale, still get the job done but when it came to specific sounds such as footsteps on the Call of Duty games, it wasn't great.

AX720 = I still own a pair of these for my spare computer, I've had them for years and they are insanely good, sound quality is great. Good thing about them they work for PC/Xbox/PS3, they are worth the money.

AX Pro = First set of headsets and I rocked them for the longest time, better sound quality than the AX720 but not enough to justify the price. I hated the newer model of these, stuck to the old ones.

AX Warheads = I've always hated wireless headsets and these made me change my mind and with the two included batteries you were NEVER out of juice and they are FULLY wireless but broke down on me 2 months after regular use and are Xbox only.

Astro A50's = Always heard good things about these and after 5/6 months of use, I refuse to use any other headsets. Sound quality is outstanding, battery life is good but pricey as hell.


SUPER IMPORTANT: If you get these, buy them at Best Buy (if you have one local), they offer their Black Tie/Geek Squad protection plan and it's TOTALLY worth it. They exchange the headsets for BRAND NEW ones for whatever reason no questions asked. I've dropped mine before by accident and gotten scratches on them, got them replaced. New version of the headsets came out? got them replaced. Don't like those anymore and want to get other ones? exchange them at full price and pay the difference for the other ones. They already know me by name every time I go the Geek Squad counter to trade them in haha

My tritans are my favourite, there the special halo 4 edition.
I prefered them to my Turtle beach x40's
