I think this PC would achieve high settings on most games. But if i were you i would have went with an i5/i7 CPU. Overall nice build.

Overall its pretty good, he can't get an intel processor on an amd socket type motherboard, he would have to buy a new motherboard. That processor is good enough.

I agree, I get about 55-60 FPS playing Bioshock: Infinite on ULTRA settings.

Since it's a gaming build, I think 16gb is unnecessary. Also would have gone with a 3570k over the AMD cpu.

7970 was a good choice though, very nice card.

Yeah, this is a great computer. Personally, I'd upgrade your hard drive to a terabyte at least, maybe two. But it's not something you need to do. Your ram is fine, you won't ever have to worry about that. Your motherboard and processor are good, and personally I also like AMD a lot more than Intel. Since your graphics card is 3GB's, you definitely will be able to run most games on the highest settings. Overall, it's a nice build yes.

I'd probably switch the processor to a i5370k the ram might be a little overkill but the one thing I'd say is get a bigger hard drive. My steam library is nearly as large as your hard drive. I'd recommend at least 1tb if not 2tb of storage. There's no need to change the GPU though that GPU is excellent.

It's a pretty nice build except for the fact that you have a small HDD with no SSD, but it really does depend on how much you spent on it.
