Sorry if wrong forum, Never used this site properly.
Hello i have just turned my Xbox on and on the screen it says i have E74 error? (Yesterday my picture went weird)
Im disappointed as i only got the Xbox a month ago 2nd hand Phat console.
Please can someone tell me why this has happened or what the fault is?

I would take your Xbox back from where you purchased it if you have the receipt.
Is this what your screen looks like? [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
This normally occurs when your console overheats, leading to connections being broken.
"Video error"
Could be a bad video cable or the HANA Video scaler chip could be damaged.
Instead of trying to fix this yourself i would take it back or get someone who knows what there doing to fix it as you will most likely damage your console more.
Hope i helped! Next time post in right forum

Try getting a fan to keep it cool. It may be overheating
