I understand why people would be against gun control, as I can understand why people would want the ability to own guns. Self defence, house security etc...

But how easy it is to purchase fully automatic assault rifles is just wrong, and is completely unnecessary. Handguns etc, I can completely understand, but anything bigger than that is completely unnecessary.

Assault rifles, sub-machine guns and shotguns etc should be available to soldiers and police force only. And possibly other people, only under special circumstances however, after thorough background checks..

My god, yet another person that doesn't know what they're talking about. Getting fully automatic weapons is close to impossible, thanks to the National Firearms Act of 1934. The fact that you said it is easy to purchase fully
Automatic firearms blatantly shows your lack of knowledge in the area of gun laws. You say anything bigger is unnecessary. That is complete crap. AR's are one of the best things for home defense, and shotguns are great too. Why should the police, who would take 6 minutes to respond to a 911 be the only ones to have ARs and shotguns. Your probably one of the people that thinks the second you call 911, the police are there, ready to spring into action. That's not how the real world works. You can not like ARs or shotguns, that's your choice. But I refuse to let your feelings impact my rights.

"My rights end where your feelings begin"

Until you actually know about gun laws and culture, people like you should just leave the gun control topic. Your almost as bad as Diane Feinstein.

I think that they shouldn't have regulations on guns.

Ring the police, don't sink to there level, pathetic and immature

I think this might be the stupidest thing I have ever heard in a gun control discussion. I can't even comprehend the stupidity around that statement, and the fact that you think using a firearm to defend yourself or your property from someone that wishes to bring you harm, is sinking to a criminals level and is pathetic and immature, just mind boggles me. You say ring the police... So your telling me, if your in your home, and someone breaks in, your going to just call the police and be a victim to a crime, instead of trying to defend yourself? According to American Police Beat, the average response to a 911 emergency such as burglary or other felonies, is 8 to 10 minutes. So in your logic, if your house is being burglarized or you are being attacked/robbed, lets wait 10 minutes for the police to show up, instead of trying to defend myself.

Where is the logic in these responses?

That statement makes almost as little sense as "Gun-Free Zones"
