The way that pack openings work is just like real life.. Think of Match Attacks if you were in the UK growing up, or just other kinds of collecting cards. There are a certain amount of each one made, so there would be a common, uncommon, rare, super-rare, ultra-rare and then the specials i.e IFs or MotM cards, season ticket doesn't influence that in any way, you could theoretically buy 10,000 packs and never get a 'rare' card in them. BTW, what EA classify as rare, which are the shiny cards aren't written as rare in the scripts, it would be written as uncommon or above. But EA do this to get more money, and they do actually put up a few players such as Messi or Ronaldo to set the standards to make more money.
