But do they have good bass?

From what I've heard Sony does have good bass, but its average. Bose has above average bass and Beats bass no one can touch. I have Beats (the earbuds) and they are well worth the $100.

And you save $70.

And Beats bass isn't as good as you think.

Well, let's leave that to the headphone recommendation thread, shall we?

If you want any sort of good and clear bass I wouldn't recommend going with a headset not ear buds. You may look dorkish but atleast you can enjoy your music and sound. If you really care about what they look like over the sound and performance I would just say waste your money and get some crappy Beats. That's all that brand is, is overpriced crap.

There are definitely some earbuds that do bass just as well as over ear headphones. Actually, for under $100, one can argue that IEMs do bass at least as well as equivalently priced over ear headphones. Since IEMs have smaller drivers, it's easier to control them. Over ear headphones have bigger drivers so while they have more bass, it's usually (basically always) much harder to control.

But anyway, regarding the EX10, they're about equal to the Skullcandy Ink'd. Most IEMs under $20 will sound pretty identical.
