Hey i was just wondering if i would get banned of xbox or minecraft for downloading a world? Im asking u this because i think of it as editing the game and apparently u get banned for editing games so plz get back to me because i really want to know this is safe to do thanks!

I just responded to a thread like this...

It's theft. Anyone who attempts to argue otherwise is an idiot.

Here's the example I'm always going to use now.

Person 1 buys candy bar from store (DLC)
Person 2 wants the same candy bar (DLC)
Person 2 takes candy bar without paying (license transfer)
Person 1 and 2 walk out of the store.

Does that sound at all legal? No.

So I misread the post OK.

It's still a bannable offense. OP didn't ask if YOU did it, he asked if you could be banned.

The answer is yes.

Paragraph B of the [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] states:

Dont make unauthorized modifications to your account profile or its contents.

Modifying the contents of a profile, which includes savegames, using any sort of tool would call for a ban.

Is that your excuse?

It's a terrible one. It's breaking the terms of use that MICROSOFT put in place. The game cant just break that.
