Ohh, one of those "I hate America" posts again. When you've spent some time in North Korea, you'll love this Country. And that example is quite awful, it's the company that does it to secure money in case people don't pay their phone bill. How can you blame people for that. Every one is going to have money trouble once in their life.

I'm young (17) and I have seen this country's deterioration since 9/11... The way the government was working was slowly changing, they started becoming much more secret and started to try and take rights and change laws that had been in place since the 1800's.

Really is sad.

Meh, A lot of the posts are generally conspiracies. Sometimes, amending the original constitution is called for.
The 13th amendment abolished slavery, that was a great call, correct?

Anyway, I agree in the sense that Americans are becoming lazy.
Both of my parents are disabled, they medically couldn't work if they wanted to. Their physical condition isn't well enough. Well because of all of the fraud and the increasing numbers of people faking disabilities or coming illegally to somehow acquire assistance, every 6 months or so, they have to fill out more paperwork and get medical exams. It becomes a hassle, especially since they already get small amounts and without it, I would've been homeless years ago.

Here here man. My wife is in News and it truly is ridiculous.

Ask you wife if she prays to Barack Hussain Obama every night because that is what a lot of people in the media are starting to do.

[quote="HBRO"]Our Founding Fathers would be horrified at how greatly and tragically our politics of today has strayed from their brilliant guidance. This remarkable group of 18 men gave their lives to create a blueprint for a nation, the first of its kind in history, of free man, something the politicians of today are seeking to dismantle.

Everything this great country once stood for is becoming a thing of the past.

We're forgetting our roots, and what made this country great in the first place.

I'm not blaming a single President either. Many have contributed to this gradual downfall.

The citizens though, have changed to the most. We used to be work-based, earning our living, and not taking **** from anyone. Why is that everyone thinks they are entitled to things nowadays? That's ridiculous. On my last cell phone bill, there is actually a tax on there that sets aside a certain amount of money to pay for other peoples' cell phones? Are you joking?!? quote]

Greetings ..
First off i would like to say that i think America is an amazing country !.

Right now to my opinion.

Your Founding Fathers would not be horrified in any way shape or form in fact they would be in awe of your education / sanitation / medication / transportation and the general standard of living !.For today you all live in a style that is way beyond what any of them could have ever wished for and as for "Everything this great country once stood for is becoming a thing of the past" well yes that is the way of the world !..,It's called change ,Nothing can stop change and even if you could would you really want to ??.
America's roots lie in slavery / civil war and racism (All things that todays americans would like to forget)and it's thanks to change that these things are mostly a thing of the past.
The world is changing and like it or loathe it we all must change with it.
As for America not being America anymore well i say in a sense yes you are right but in many ways it is a far better place for it.

I could't agree more. It is some horse sh!t that there even is taxes that take the money you earn and just give it to somebody else. Taxes should only be going to Government expenses like the military, not to welfare.

The american government was built on the biases of change, if something wasn't working we change it,
and your "cell phone bill tax"? its what you get for being a citizen, you help other citizens out
and We are number one in most technological advances, an even though we have one of lowest GPAs in the world, that doesnt reflect that most of the top 10% smart people are from the united states

we are going into a roman type situation, where there is a HUGE gap between groups, not economically, but education, it will sort itself out, maybe not now, but in 2 generations, uneducated people will be unable to get jobs and such
