The cheapest way to record gameplay would be using a potato or an orange, many people on YouTube choose this method causing the quality of there video to greatly decrease, to record with a potato or an orange simply plug your auxiliary cable directly into your potato or orange and then plug the opposite end of your auxiliary directly into your Xbox . Most oranges and potatoes have a direct upload option.

Wait for the next gen consoles. You can stream/record with that.

Dazzle's are going on ebay bids for REALLY cheap , there is some on ebay that you can win in a bid for around $10 or you can buy it now for like $20 ... sometimes noone bids and you can get one for like $2....

Just go to ebay and type " Dazzle Dvc 100 " (Click enter) , and then on the *sort* tab click " Ending Soonest "

But to be honest i have a dazzle and its alright if your looking to record like 1 video a month but to constantly be making videos with it you should just save up your money and buy an HD PVR
