VSync in Minecraft is used basically to cap your FPS at the rate of your monitors refresh rate. Your monitor only refreshes every so often. If you have it turned off, the extra "fps" will be wasted because your only monitor can refresh every so often, using up extra GPU unnecessarily. Personally, I recommend you use vsync.

How much wattage does my build need if I have an i5 3570K overclocked to 4.5 Ghz with a Hyper 212 as the cpu cooler, a Radeon 7850 with the core clock at 1000 Mhz and the Memory clock at 1250 Mhz, along with two 500 Gb HDD's in RAID-1 Configuration, and 2 sticks of 4Gb 1.35V RAM?

Another question I have is, can you explain to me how to defragment an SSD?

A quality 430w psu like corsair would suffice. At load all that would only use about 340w.

When I try to type, something white and sticky gets on my fingers, kinda like glue.
What do I do?

Try inserting a floppy disk, sometimes that'll do the trick.
