The ONLY reason ppl call it fake is because somewhere during there lifetime they had a friend or family member argue with them about it being a REAL fight, like ufc, pride ect. Its only meant for entertainment and there are those few rogue fans out there that honestly believe its a real fight. i believe thats the most common misconception. i agree with OP 100% people that call it fake only see the show as people pretending to fight, when in reality there is a slight story and characters. Its like a tv show.

i do agree with you that it is annoying when people feel the need to mention that it is fake. but you cant really compare it to spongebob or the walking dead as they are completely different types of tv shows. you have to see it from there perspective and compare it to other sporting events.

i dont see whats entertaining about a bunch of guys acting throwing each other around and screaming other then laughing at how ridiculous they look in there skin tight shorts and masks

it wouldn't be so bad if it didn't look so fake there not even hitting each other most of the time and that whole routine where they stomp there foot on the ground to make it seem like there punches are actually doing something is hilarious

wanna watch wrestling then why not watch the real wrestling or ufc

Set up is true but the blood is 100% real (They slice their own head open.) The weapons are 100% real. They stopped the bleeding stuff though for family purposes. It was real though nevertheless.

Well, if it's fake, and you know it is, why get angry about it?

Yes films are fake, but they normally have meanings and morals behind them. They affect your emotions (which I'm sure WWE can).
