Hey so I'm looking to buy a high end headset. I've been looking through reviews but I can't get a straight answer. I'm just here to ask about your personal experiences with the turtle beach xp500's, astro a50's or the triton warhead 7.1's. if someone could give me some insight on these and point me in the right direction I will rep+

Thanks for the help!!!

Triton Warheads by far are the best headset I have ever had. 100% wireless, easy to use and set up, good quality. It is a hefty price but it is well worth it.

Hey, so can I give you my personal experiences with all three companies? With Turtlebeaches, you will run into some of problems regarding the microphone. If its a cable that feeds the headset, it can cause some static every time you talk audible to other players. If your using the Turtlebeaches that are wireless (the older versions), they run on the same frequency as your wifi will, causing popping and static in your headset IF your too close to something else running on wifi with the headset on. Turtle beaches are also very comfortable and the most comfortable out of the three. With Astros, they are the best choice out of the three. They are expensive, but probably the best option out of all three. They are fairly reliable, don't have any of the static problems (at least with me), but it still is quite an expensive price. Tritons are the worst out of the three in my personal experience. I've had three sets of Tritons, and every time within six months they broke. The first and third one the microphone is actually to heavy for the headset, resulting in the mic breaking. With the second pair of Tritons I've had, the cheap plastic broke and I couldn't use them anymore.

IN CONCLUSION: Buy Astros if your willing to drop the price on it, if not, go Turtlebeaches.

I'd love a +Rep.
Anyway, the Astro's are good headsets. I had one before, and the sound is good, and they have a nice look to them!
Turtle Beach's aren't the greatest, though... I have gone through at least 3 in the past 2 years, and I take great care of my headsets.
