I have had turtle beaches for years now, and only the cords have messed up on them.

My audio box on the wire. The wires on the inside of that came loose. I had to solder them back. But basically the same issue lol

I had 2 pairs of X31's and they're sh*t, then I
bought some X12's about a month ago and I for like $40
and they're awesome. X31's had a loud popping and
crackling sound when i got more then like 4 feet from
the wireless receiver, and i had to change the AAA's
frequently.

I would go with the Tritons.. My last 3 pair of Turtle Beaches have fell apart.

I've had both and personally, I like the tritons better.. but the turtle beaches didn't break within 5 weeks..

So Guys Im Careful With my controllers but Im more wanting to know as of the quality of each. like which had better sound? (I play cod so any help sound whorin? lol) which hlasted longer (not due to animals but cords breaking headset breaking.) and so on.
