I'm thinking about Astro a40 because my GB team is getting serious so i want to know before i invest that kind of money into a headset do you think it will work on the xbox720?

It should, i don't see why they would make you buy new ones for a new console.

they won't because astro connect to the xbox using a digital cable and they won't get rid of digital out because it the best sound quality at the moment.

$5 dollars = 500 MP
so that means that i can get 2000 for 20 if i buy them separately

haha dude xbox is great ill always pay for it idc but the mics suck!!!! the old ones lasted the longest.

the only think xbox can change for the 720 is the controller input but astro will just manufacture the same cable size and ship to their users for free

If it does people will be complaining and they don't want that, they want to keep customers happy so they get more cha ching $$$$ that way.
