Smooth, visible text, good color variation, loving the shadow effect, two things. 1st try to make the outline a bit smoother, looking closely you can see a slight 'Zig-Zag' And secondly when you first look at it, looks like you're trying to add a 3D effect, which would actually look quite nice, so I suggest either removing the lines on either ends of the zed, or make it 3D

Heres the thing, i got a new PC for Christmas so all of my work is basically gone.
I have to start fresh.

If you plan on your portfolio looking lush, i would drop and acronyms i.e "GFX" or "BG's" and only put HQ work on your portfolio.
