so i know the update just came out, but i'm wondering if there is any way to mod enchantments. i save before i enchant and if i don't get what i want i exit and go back in and try again. (call it cheating but idc lol) but i'm trying to get my diamond armor unbreakable, thorns, and protection. just wondering if there is any way that i can mod it so i just have those without having to sit there and exit back and forth.

thanks for the help

and please no hate!!

Yes it's possible. Look into decrypting and decompressing dat files, and using the values from it in a form that is readable

got the decompressing, are you saying to use HxD to read it and replace the values with the values of the enchanted tool??

i'll try too, if anyone knows how to do this and is willing to, you should make a tutorial to show us all.

another thing, idk where the values are for my inventory, cuz if like a sword has a certain value i could find that value hundreds of times through out the whole file right?

Yes, you can use a hex editor I suppose. But it will give you problems since no one has detected the values of enchantments, or realized how the damage varies with them....

You can also change a lot more, HxD won't help you changing spawnpoints because it's jumbled into 'KIAWJEOFIAJWEPFJAPWEJFIOAJWPEF'
