Everyone is ALWAYS anticipating the next Minecraft update right? Even on the day, the hour, even the minute the 1.8.2 released on Minecraft Xbox Edition the first thing most people probably said was: I cannot wait for the next installment.
I have to say, i was excited for the 1.8.2 but rather disappointing with the selection of features 4J Studios and Mojang threw together. I wouldn't mind loosing the rotten flesh and endermen for an Enchanting table and Brewing function.
Never the less, the anticipation for the next update lives on. Though hasn't been any mention of an Xbox Edition update, there has infact been mention of a PC update scheduled in January-Febuary. Maybe Mojang will throw xbox some Minecrafty goodness in Xbox's direction...
Anyway, enough of my rambling. Here is some of the features you can expect in the next update:
Blaze
Snow Golems
Magma Cubes
Baby Animals
Animal Breeding
Potion Brewing
Experience Points
Enchantment Table
Mushroom Biome
Nether Fortress
New Tutorial World
Villagers
Now it's just putting up with the long wait, and feeling of being incomplete to contend to. But who knows, Mojang might feel the festive cheer and give their fan base a festive surprise...

1.8.2 took 4-5 months from the update before to get released, but that was a bigger update than this one coming so hopefully soon..

Not for definite.
No-one knows, even 4JStudios don't know the release date so people keep making the own predictions but no-ones right
