Sure.
Just make your friend down him self over and over.
Keep reviving him once you revive him and he flashes green you have done it right.
You know you have done it right when you revive him the Reviving text should be purple.

Is it true that if you do this and then buy Quick Revive that you have instant revive? Please reply as I have noone to play with to test this with at the moment.

No it isnt instant revive but it may be a bit quicker I wasnt sure.
