Flashed xboxsare xboxs with a flashed disc drive. This allows the console to play games that have been burned to a disc rather than having to use a retail copy of the game. You can only do certain mods with using this method, you can mod game files as but the Xbox will only run them if you have the original default.xex and default_mp.xex.

JTAG and RGH are the same thing, a hack to allow the console to run unsigned code. Only RGH is a newer method to hack the console, because the JTAG hack was patched a long time ago. These consoles can run just about any unsigned code from home brew, to emulators, to modded games. These consoles will be banned instantly when trying to connect to Xbox live. So right now the only online mods you can do with them require you to system link with a retail console.

Just to make sure...so when hosting online CoD challenge, xp, infeccted lobbies etc. the jtag or rgh doesnt go online? you have to join system lin with a retail and that infects the retail with the mods allowing to then host the lobby?
Also, can you do any CoD lobbies with just a flashed xbox?

Flashed xbox can only play "Backups" or burned games. ;) ;)
