so i have a flashed xbox running on live and i come home and it wants to update the dashboard. i clicked no am i able to update or will i lose my flash and get banned?

You can update it still even if you said no. I reflash my xbox to stock and then updated it. Then i reflash my xbox with LT+ 3.0 and it still works!

if you update it will reset to stock firmware so you cant play copies. you need to flash it to stock then update then reflash to lt+3.0

just update it,theres no need to flash to stock and then reflash after the update,

That is not true. It will only reset it to stock if there was a DVD Firmware update in the xbox live update. This update is perfectly fine, i updated my dash without flashing to stock. After the update, its still updated and reading burnt discs.
