Ok so I just downloaded xbox neighborhood or xbox sdk whatever you want to call it and I'm not getting full functionality out of it. It seems like a really cool thing if you could get all of it working like the real time memory management thing is just sick, but I can't do that! I read that in order to get the most out of it you need to have a dev kernal installed on your xbox, and I was wondering if anybody could lead me to a tutorial on how to do that and if there are any down sides to it. Also just looking for any tips what so ever on this topic really so if you could help it would be really appreciated!

You don't need dev kernel, just the xbdm.xex and set it as a plug in on dashlaunch. Be sure the xbdm.xex is in the root of your HDD and that you have the latest version of sdk installed

I set up the xbdm.xex and saved it on my launch.ini and its on the root of my hard drive and I'm not really sure where to get the latest version of sdk but I have a version installed obviously. The thing is I can take screenshots and reboot my console but thats it, if I try to open it up for the memory then nothing happens. I double click my console or right click and hit open and nothing happens at all except for a click noise like when you open a folder or something like that.

I had the same issue for a little while; you're having issues exploring the hard drive using neighborhood is that it? If that's the case you're using the outdated xbdm.xex that doesn't support this. I'm trying to find the link I got that fixed the issue for me and when I find it I'll pm you/post it here.

I have that same xbdm but I don't remember the version of sdk that I have so maybe that's it

Are you talking about the tutorial for when the consoles came back online? If so I can get those pretty easy nust to make sure that I have the right ones. If not can you tell me what your talking about?
