I have a benq drive that is flashed and works great, but the console itself sucks. It freezes up and gets the red rings every other day. I was wondering if anybody has a console that has the drive or has a console that is compatible with it. I actually have an extra console, but its drive is a lite-on and I don't really want to have to take apart the drive to flash it.

So what exactly are you looking for? What you want is a flashed retail?

I was just wondering if somebody had an xbox that is compatible with a benq drive. It doesn't have to come with a drive

Well for what you are going to pay for another one you might as well fix the one you have now. What is wrong with it. Get the secondary error code.

Well today everytime I go to start it up and the xbox logo comes up it freezes, I played Madden 13 on it for about 3 hours yesterday and had no problems. I have done a RRoD fix on it but it still didn't work so I think the motherboard is shot. It is a very old system, I got it from a friend and he told me it was bought the first year that they came out.
