$57 is on the very high end for a book. You probably got a tad ripped off. But nonetheless, good job! Just follow that book and you should get the basics in no time.

Exactly my point he wasted money.
Books are not a waste of money, a lot of material online is written by unprofessionals at least with a book you know your getting the real deal.
