so we all have seen this image, but i believe that this new "wonder-weapon" freezes the zombies. the reason why i say wonder-weapon in quotes is because of this article from ShackNews.com. it says "There's also some "wonder weapons" that are "magical" in nature. And if that's not enough for you, there's even a crafting system that allows you to create new items from objects you collect in the environment. These can be put together to form weapons, or grant you access to previously unreachable areas of the world."
now i think that this new wonder-weapon could either be a new weapon that you can get from the box, or you can get the Winter's Howl from the box and find some other components around the map to upgrade it making into this "cannon" of some-sort.
also, the reason why i say that it freezes zombies is that the gauge on the left seems to have a little thermometer on it and the temperature apears to be at the bottom of the blue, indicating cold. also, you can hear the sound the weapon makes when it cuts to black in the trailer and it kinda sounds like the Winter's Howl when it freezes the zombies.

And maybe with that gun you can shoot the lava till it cools down and becomes a walk-able path and leads you to the wonderwaffle, must likely not but just using my imagination.

i was the first to post about this, it does not sound like the winters howel at all. also, that is not a tempreture gauge it would say degreez or something like C and the one on the left is a RPM (rotation per min). the guage on the left i would emagine is the strangth of the shot you want to use. like you hold left trigger to get the rpm'D UP then when the dial is where you want it you press right trigger. it could be an ice gun but that is not a temp gauge and if it is its measuring the temp of the gun itself, like the flame thrower could over heat.

There already is a wonder weapon that freezes zombies. Why would they add another one?
