The fact that there is yet another NHL lockout under Gary Bettman is just ridiculous. This time around, the owners are largely at fault for being so stubborn on negotiating a new Collective Bargaining Agreement. I personally am a fan of the Philadelphia Flyers, die hard, and I am very upset that I can't see my boys play this year because some rich people are complaining that they aren't even more rich.
I say split the revenue share 50/50, between hockey and players, limit contracts to 6 year signing limits so we don't see anymore Zach Parise or Ryan Suter (and yes, Shea Weber) contracts. The game of hockey is continually growing more and more every year, and now that current CBA has expired and selfish rich men are arguing about money, they don't realize what they are doing. Of course the players can't play NHL hockey, the one thing they love to do. Of course the fans don't get to watch NHL hockey, something very dear to them. But how about the arena workers? They DEPEND on hockey to make an income, and with no season that means thousands of men and women across America and Canada will have to find other jobs to make ends meet in an already struggling economy. That is just unfair and downright wrong.
As you can see, there are many reasons the NHL Lockout, well, sucks. Above are some opinions of my own and things I've read online mixed together. So tell me, what do YOU think about all this nonsense with the NHL Lockout?

Well damn, so many sports have had lockouts recently.
First NBA, NFL Refs are currently on strike, and now NHL players.

Im right with you too! We just got Zach Parise and Ryan Suter and now we wont see them play for a while. I was hoping for a badass season!
