Some were having problems with a black screen while trying to access MW3, here is a solution. Hope it helps.

1. Sign out of xbox live account
2. Start up MW3
3. Click multiplayer
4. hit xbox live
5. when prompted to sign in, sign in to your account

yeah i had to do that to is this happening to everybody?
