I'm shopping around for a video card for a future build and im wondering what's better, the 6950 or the 7870. Or, any other video card in that price range that will perform better would be great.

7870 is slightly better in some ways, but the same could be said about the other card, I would suggest getting the 7870 though. The best step up would be a 7950 I believe, but it's going to cost you $100 USD more or so than a 7870, depending on where you get it.
