I'm not to sure if i can run minecraft
I can play battlefield 3 on high settings

here is my specs:
- Intel Core i7 3770K QC Ivy 3.5GHz
- 16GB RAM + 2TB HDD + 64GB SSD
- NVIDIA GeForce GTX680
- Coolermaster Storm Trooper Case
- Windows 7 Home Premium
-liquid cooled

should i buy a new Pc?

You might want to upgrade to a gtx 690 just to be sure.

No. Minecraft is a graphics intensive game higher than the likes of battlefield. I would recommend a NVIDIA gtx 285 x2. That should do the trick.
