Ok so i play infected a lot so i know how its played.
I would usually get full ammo at the start right? 288 in a pp
80 or 90 in a striker and so on.
Well now its giving me a 3rd of the ammo! i get 20 bullets in a striker and only 62 in a pp.
My friends get full ammo though. How stupid?
anyone else have this problem?

Have you prestiged recently? You probably don't have Scavenger Pro.

It is because you have recently prestiged or something, therefor you do not have scavenger pro anymore
