Hi I was considering getting an ultra book laptop because im always on the go, I am considering getting a MacBook Air or some other Acer laptop. What would be a good laptop for about $1,000?

I wouldn't suggest a Mac of any sort if you are playing games. ex. bf3, mw3, me3, and so on.

If I wanted an ultrabook, I would look no further than the Asus Zenbooks. The UX31A is everything I would want from one. 1080p IPS panel, typical ultrabook SSD storage, awesome looks, Ivy Bridge CPU... Mai gawd.

The Acer Ultrabooks got bashed in reviews for having sub par build quality which is not surprising.

On top of the Asus Prime, the HP Folio is also a great contender.
