I think this cpu is very good i had it for a while in my old pc and it ran very well i played cod4 and gta 4 on it fine.

I don't know about you, but I like my games to look good. OP, this guy's post is only valid if you plan solely on playing low-end games. Like Minecraft.

So would you say it is good for gaming? forgetting about all the other cpu`s

If you plan on playing Runescape and Minecraft, then it'll do fine. Games like Battlefield 3 would eat it.

ye fair enough it wouldnt play BF3 no way ! But it will play only slightly lower end games like COD4 and GTA 4 and many more other lower end games

I don't know about CoD4, as I don't know his GPU. GTA IV wouldn't even run well with GTX 680's and an I5. It's a poorly optimized shoddy console port.
