Hey guys. Thetechgame is so great so I thought I'd seek help here. So here's my situation: I've got a 2006 (March) Macbook Pro that is not booting up at all. I here the drive spinning up and the power indication light will be on for about 5 seconds. Then the drive spins down and nothing happens after that. I've tried taking out the drive and testing it. It runs fine on another computer. I figured that the logic board is out for the third time :sigh:
Do you guys have any idea what's going on? Thanks

Is it plugged in when you do this? This sounds like a hard one to troubleshoot.

haha yes. The battery (also the third one) holds a charge for like .49 milliseconds but it is plugged in also and its been working fine for the past 6 years that way. I know this is a hard one (thats why I need help lol)

I'd take it in. Sounds like a bad power supply and/or battery.

plugged in: then your power supply is dead

not plugged in: Then your battery is dead

both: or it is so full of dust it overheats too fast.

Hmmm... It wasnt any of those
I just took it apart after letting it sit for 3 days. Then I removed and replaced every wire I found in there. Something was loose or out of place because after that everything worked fine!
