insert anything you wish , the worlds go from either numerical or hexadecimal digits, i forget which it is.
when you enter a seed, each letter represents a number e.g. a - 1 b - 2 etc. then when you enter the seed your world seed becomes -????????????? whatever you entered, but for people to share the world that you created you can give them either what you entered or the precise seed, either will do.
