i burned xbox games but when i put the disc in the hitachi drive i get disc unrecognized?

many things could be going wrong
1. you arent on the latest dash (if the game is new)
2. you could have a bad laser (this happens with "shitachi" drives. they seem to fail alot and are horrible
3. you could have burnt the game wrong or the media is bad (discs are bad)
P.S. even if originals work, the reason why backups arent working is because their on cheaper media.
