I am buying a powerful PC not just for gaming also for editing so I want it to render pretty fast and be able to run games smoothly. I am considering buying the Alienware aurora

Never, under any circumstances, should you even consider Alienware. What's your budget? You can build a PC that will maximize what you get for your dollar, and it's far easier than you'd imagine.
