hey guys, heres the story

I bought an xbox which was liteon 9 Series i then tested the drive and was working OK but the laser was kinda loud and sounded like it was struggling sort of a jumpy noise

Anyways, i then went on to flash the drive and now my dvd drive will not open (it always had this problem) and when it does it does not read my games, the flash went perfect so i left it, now when i turn the drive on the laser sounds like its going to blow up its a really loud jamming noise so I put my 7 Series old drive in but nothing it just dosent read..

QUESTIONS

1) What is the problem with the drive how can i fix without buying a new one
2) Can i replace the laser from my 7 series or the PCB board
3) Any other suggestions?!

+REP For whoever helps me!

1. Well if its makin a loud noise, then the drive has bad hardware

2. Yes you can replace it, but make sure you replace the whole entire laser

3. If that doesn't work. Your gonna need to buy a new drive.

Apparently its my laser hitting the disc spinner which is causing a grinding noise
