Is this game really worth it on the xbox? I played minecraft since I saw the Yogscast's first Minecraft video. But and my friend and I were debating on whether or not we should get it.
My friend is relatively new to minecraft, so he downloaded the demo. He didn't like playing it. He didn't tell me why until recently, it turns how he didn't know how to make a shovel. Ever since then he keeps on playing the demo. I want to get it but it's a game where if you don't understand it it get's boring fast.
But back on topic, should we?

Honest, get it on PC.
Then get it on xbox when it comes down in price.

I personally think its very worth it. It is so much fun and really addictive once you get going. it dosent have as much content as the pc version BUT that dosent mean its not going to be added in the future. I personally like it better then pc just for the fact its on xbox and its easier to comunicate but you can do enough in this version to keep you busy for hours and hours and still be fun so i would recomend it unless you like pc better

Most definitely in my opinion. Its so much fun especially if your limited to servers on pc. Its a lot easier to play with friends and theres no server setting up

I've played it on the PC for about a year and a half, I don't remember when I started but it was awhile ago. My friend however just started. Minecraft on the PC was really fun for about 5 - 8 months until the game got boring, which is when I introduced my virgin minecraft with mods.
