I pick iOS due to it being relatively easier for me to use.

1. A Bigger and Better Variety of Apps
2. A Well-Designed, Intuitive User Interface
3. Siri
4. iCloud
5. Notification Center
6. Twitter Integration
7. Multi-Touch technology.

And many more "Every little boys dream"

1. The Android app selection is coming closer to the level of the App Store. Google Play has far less restriction both have their fair share of spam garbage apps. The web client for Google Play is also top notch! It has some really cool features. If you have an Android phone and haven't tried the web client, try it!

2. The same could be said of Android. The Holo theme is absolutely gorgeous. I think iOS app design has become very tacky in some cases and Android is quickly gaining consistency as developers move toward Holo.

3. Siri is a gimmick. You only use Siri because you can, not because it's easier. I'm around hundreds of iPhone users on a daily basis, and I've yet to see a single usage of Siri as a tool instead of a toy.

4. Google Drive is a better service than iCloud. It's more universal, incorporates an Office suite, and ties well into the Google ecosystem just as iCloud does with the Apple ecosystem.

5. Notification center is a blatant rip-off of an Android feature that has existed since release. Android's implementation is far more functional, though.

6. Twitter and other forms of social media are deeply integrated into Android as well.

7. Multi-touch is not specific to Apple devices and many Android launchers support multi-touch gestures, unlike the iOS launcher you are stuck with.

Not to mention widgets, customize-ability, a thriving modding community (far better than that of iOS, which I have extensive experience with), variety, screen sizes that are not miniscule, equal or better cameras, removable batteries, SD card support, higher-quality audio playback (although iDevices have line-out support, not a useful feature for 99% of users), etc. Read my previous post for still more reasons.

I have had 2 different Androids before my iPhone.

I can honestly say nothing compares to iOS.
