Well i read something on facebook and it said something about leap days and if leap year hadn't been invented then the world should have ended like 7 months ago because the Mayans didn't expect to have leap year.

just coz the Mayans ran out of what ever they wrote the calander on doesnt mean the end of the world or the start of a new one it just means they ran out of writing resources

First poster here is right, technically, as Mayans had not account for leap years, and the extra days, the world would of ended a few months ago.

Also, I shy away from this stuff, it means very little to me, but it would seem to be the case, it won't be the end of the world that's ridiculous
