I prefer Lancer.
It really good at far to mid range.
Not the best at close range,but dominates with that active.

Retro, it's really good in close range and can be good at long range if you burst fire it.

The retro is high damage and huge recoil but the lancer had a lot of rounds and high accuracy. Your choice

Obviously the Retro is better. But it takes skill to use Gnasher/Lancer/Hammerburst. Ask any original GoW Player.
These new gun shouldn't have been introduced to the game. The power weapons are cool but the Sawd Off/Retro is just awful.

retro lancer is way easier to use IMO, but in the end its up to the user, that's why i use the lancer mostly

Lancer isn't that bad if you can get a shot on them also shoot for the head it does more damage and the retro is ok, on small maps.

Both depend on the user but i think most people will agree that retro is better (no matter how much you hate it and think its for noobs) because it blows the lancer out of the water at close range and if you shoot it in bursts it's also really good at far range.
I personally use the hammerburst myself
