Exactly, to me, the Bible might as well be sold on fiction shelves at Barnes and Noble or wherever.

Thanks Very for making this topic. I agree all the way with you on this but in a different aspect. I don't believe in religion, god, jesus, zeus, hindu... Etc. Pretty much the way i see it the only reason people go to god to religion is because they are born into it or need something to look to in life or more than likely think religion is a way to turn there lifes around from the piece of crap it is.
I don't believe in the bible but i believe the things it preaches about how to live a good life.. I can do all of that without believing a fairy tale and thats what i am going to do.

I feel like there is a higher power. This has probably been said before, but if the Big Bang Theory happened, then what caused it? How did the first species get on Earth? What caused the elements to be here as we know it? Did they just magically appear out of nowhere? I think a lot of religions have the same core idea. There is a god(s)/higher power who created our world and the universe, and whether or not the details are true, I feel like they have the main idea right.

Sorry i don't believe in god but i can also agree the Big Band Theory is as stupid a shit as they come. And to answer the rest of your questions take a simple freshman biology class.

Just read a wiki about the Big bang and you'll understand.

Well, religion to me...seems silly. I don't think that humans have the capability of even comprehending of what happens to us after we die. It sure as hell is not what people believe now...that's for sure.

-Destined- wrote I personally want to believe in God, but I can't. There is no valid proof and almost the entire Old Testament sounds like a children's book to me. I think too logical. I'm sorry if some people are offended, but I think religion was just an old theory of the Universe.

its exactly the same for me
I want to believe in him but I can't because like u said, its not logical.

Thanks USMC, I agree that it shows the guidelines of having a good life, but it also restricts like Runite said.
