These are just short and effective tips to help you up your game on Fifa 12, either offline or online.

ATTACKING
First of all , the key to attacking is pace. in order to rip a defence apart you need to move the ball quick and effectively, without being tackled of course. A good way to make your opponent beg for mercy is quick 1 2 passes. To perform 1 2 passes simply hold LB (Xbox 360) or L1 (PS3). I would only suggest to perform this with midfielders or forwards, doing this with defenders leaves gaping holes in your defence.This is a useful way of attacking as your oppositions defence finds it hard to mark the players making the runs.

Another nice way to enhance your play is finesse passing, for those who don't know already this can be performed by holding LT or L2 along with the pass button, this is very useful if you're going for montage clips or simply want to make your play easier on the eye.

Defending
A key to defending is patience and knowing the right time to put a tackle in. A great to defend is by using contain mode to its full advantage. As you all know to do this simply hold A or X depending on your console. This will frustrate the opponent and will increase the chances of them making mistakes, also a good time to put in a tackle when in contain mode is when the attacker has no passing options and not enough space to pull of a skill move.
