so i bought a kv today and i was trying to boot it up but i recently did the remove 30ms ping limit for system link and i couldnt access my dashboard because of this so i couldnt recover my gamer profile. so i restored to a previous nand with the new kv and it worked it went back to likke factory default where it is all like choose language and stuff. so i got to the dashboard and it said needs to update and at first i was scared to update so i said no but then someone told me it was just for the avatars and it didnt matter so i tryed downloading the update and it kept saying the update could not be installed or whatever and it woulld reboot my xbox every time it failed. a major problem with this is that it says i need the update to play xex menu which means i am kind of effed because i still have xell instead of xellous and was having trouble upgrading to xellous so i was just using flash360 to update my nand and stuff. so i read into this update and i downloaded it and put it on a usb drive that i configured for xbox in the root drive but the same result and when i plug the usb into my jtag when i go system settings memory it doesnt even recognize the usb drive which means it probably wouldnt recognize the update on the drive. my jtag is pretty much effed until i can fix this problem so could someone pleeeeaaase help me!! haha the only solution i can think of that i havent tried is going out and buying a transfer cable and then directly injecting the update folder into my hard drive which i guess i will try as a last resort if i have to. thanks
