Can anyone tell me how to get or unlock the l96 and will it work for other guns?

Through assignments, this is what you have to do:
50 Headshots
50 Spot Assists
5 Knife takedowns
But first you have to unlock the QBU-88 you will have to get 20 sniper kills and 5 laser designations(mark vehicles with Soflam)

i am sorry to ask.. but i don't know how to do 50 spot Assists.
i use radio beacon and didnt count... my squad member spot on me..it not count.

You get spot assists when you spot an enemy using the back/select button whilst aimed in, and your team kills them
