no. the army has over 2 million soldiers including NG and reserves. the Marines have a little over 250,000.

NG is involved with state issues, while other branches will not give 2 shits.

thats not completely true some branches go through more/less physical training than other branches do.
In my personal opinion i think that are force tend to be called "weaker" because theyre physical training is not as intense/demanding than other, e.g. the army or in your case the marines.

Air Force still has intense training. The Physical Standards of the Air Force is huge, being able to withstand all the Gs pulled by aircraft. The basic training is the exact same as the Army basic training.

[quote="Tall"]Why is it the Marines earn more respect than any other branch?

I'm a Marine, and although all of America's forces go through similar types of training, the Marines are far more pliable to the 'ART' of war, whereas the traditional training methods used by the Army, Navy, and Air Force pale in comparison... I've seen the national guard in action (snicker)... they might as well be playing MW3 or some chit...

But regardless I hold the other branches in high regards, I just fck with them when I poke fun at them. Besides if I pizzed them off who else was going to give me a ride??? LOOOOOOOOOL
