Well I Have been looking around and I Have noticed that people are getting server errors and they are getting defcon 5 on the status checker on callofduty.com
Well the thing is this happened to me and i looked for a explanation to this and found out it means your banned, maybe boosting cheating or just dashboarding through a game.
BUT!!!... Then all of a sudden it let me connect and it worked fine. no de-rank or anything so i'm guessing that due to the high demand of the game the servers are having a little maintenance. This seems to be happening in the UK atm so it might be a EU Problem I Don't Know.
SO.. For anyone who is getting error messages don't be worried just yet because this could be a minor problem.. But if it continues then you most likely are banned.
