First off, I'm a fan of CoD4 and MW2. With that said, MW3 is not worth your money.

The campaign is great and has some awesome moments, but the graphics show their age when stacked against BF3 and other games this year.

The survival/spec ops modes are decent. Nothing that hasn't been done before though.

And of course the multiplyer, which is what everyone is getting this game for. It's just like MW2. When people say "MW2.5" they aren't lying. I can't really blame IW. They knew that all they had to do was slap some new textures, guns and a few sounds into the game and put Modern Warfare in the title and people will buy it no matter what.

Overpowered killstreaks are still there. The guns are ok, and the new ones are a nice addition...but it still doesn't feel like enough. It doesn't feel like an all new game. It feels recycled.

The package all together is ok at best, It plays just like MW2. Before you go saying I don't think the game is great because I suck, you're wrong. I can go 50 and 2 in domination and carry my team in SnD.

I'm not saying the game is bad, I'm saying it's not worth 60$. Most people are going to pay 60$ and only play multiplayer. You could play MW2 and get the exact same experience and game play.

If you want to get the most out of your money this holiday then get Battlefield 3 or Skyrim. If you have some extra cash and nothing else to spend it on then maybe MW3 would be a viable purchase. It will definitely give you something to do for a day or two, but after that it will all start feeling the same, and you'll feel like you have been ripped off.

Incorrect. MW3 will be the only shooter the majority of people play for the next year. BF3 is second, but trailing very far behind.

Exactly what I was thinking.

I think because people perfered mw2 over BO (not saying everyone, but a majority) they thought it was cause of the game layout, so they copied it for this game. I was thinking on buying this game but to be honest im not sure as I played my brother's and it's good fun to start off with (Barely no hitmarkers with snipers <3) but then it's just turning into a boring game like usually what happens with all CoD's.

Just because BF3 is far behind with sales doesn't mean that MW3 is a better game at all.

Good to see some people feel the same way. And for you fan boys, don't get confused. I'm NOT saying the game is bad.

It's just not worth 60$. Why would you pay 60$ for and add on to MW2?

I hated MW2, loved Black Ops. I'm paying $100 for this game. It's not the same game. CoD has a winning formula. If they veer too far away from it, it wouldn't be successful.

I will be playing almost exclusively this game until probably late next summer, when the DLC stops rolling in.
