okay so i was factory reseting my dell vostro 220 windows vista and i accidently shut it down and now i cant do anything. i need help badly guys!! thanks!

well, thats vista for you... Just boot up, and hit f12 (make sure vista install disc is in)

boot from your dvd drive
go to command prompt and type the following

Diskpart
List disk
select disk x ( x is the name of your hard drive with vista on it)
list partition
select partition x (x is the name of your vista partition) most likely 2 or 3 on a basic pc

active
exit
exit

now restart. if that doesnt work, do a clean install of vista..

there are a few tuts on youtube but i agree vista is a complete load of trash all vista customers should get a free upgrade to windows 7
