I am trying to make myself a avatar in Photoshop CS5. It is going to say MasterP and the text is going to be blinking/flashing. When I save it as "Save For Web and Devices", I save it is as a GIF file. But when I upload it to Photobucket there is not text, just the size and the color of the background. Can someone tell me the correct settings? Thanks.

Also whoever tells me the right settings I will make you a avatar!

Why make animated because they ruin the avatars / gfx...
Just make it still and nice. No crappy flashing / moving.

Not all moving avatars are bad. It depends on how its designed and weather it would look annoying (by annoying i mean just the whole background is flashing with no text or moving words) For example mine doesn't look that bad. Mines simple.

What I did was make copies of the same avatar, then just change the color on each one.
Then I went to gifninja.com (not advertising) and put the pictures together, changed the speed etc. Hope I helped
Edit: It took me a total of 15 minutes to do.
