So here it is, I have internet acess on my laptop. I can do anything. (like playing on minecraft server) BUT i cant use a internet browser. I am posting this on my ipod touch that is working... Got any ideas or help?

I'm don't know too much about viruses per say but just to clarify so if you repost title doesnt sound retarded... you cannot get a virus for a piece of hardware. it's just not possible a CPU only handles all of the calculations required to run your computer

Well a lot of times it has to due with the internet browser itself, if you're on IE then go to internet options then lan settings and uncheck all the boxes if any are checked.

You can get a virus to overheat your CPU.

The CPU does not store data (obviously), so the CPU itself cannot get a virus, but a virus running on the HDD can easily have an effect on the CPU.

Try downloading different browsers if you can. If you can't download them because of your lack of a browser, download them elsewhere and put them on a flash drive. You know the rest.
